In an exciting AAA PeeWee Final series between the St. John's Hitmen and the TriCom Thunder, the Thunder emerge as League Champions. The Thunder swept the Hitmen by scores of 5-0 and 4-1.
Next games in the PeeWee League will take place at the AAA Provincial Playdowns hosted the CeeBees Minor Hockey Association. This tournament takes place March 17-19, 2017 at the new Danny Cleary Community Centre in Harbour Grace.
The winner of the provincial play-downs will join the Host Team, TriCom Thunder at the Bell Aliant Atlantic Championships to be held at the new CBS Arena on Legion Road in CBS, April 6-9, 2017. Along with the 2 teams from HNL, the provoincial champions from HNB, HPEI and HNS will compete for Atlantic supremacy!
