AAA PeeWee Western Kings take 2 of 3 from TriPen Ice

The Western Kings won two out of three games against the Tri-Pen Ice in provincial AAA peewee hockey league play at S. W. Moores Arena over the weekend.
The Kings wrapped up the road trip with a 6-3 win over the Ice Sunday morning with Ben Smith scoring the winning goal on a setup from Jacob Oake. Isaiah Caines, Clay King, Bradin Burden, Steven Ford and Jesse Hickey also scored for the Kings in the third game of the series. Reilly Mayne had a two-goal outing for the Ice, while Liam Gregory scored the other goal in a losing effort. Lucas Park outduelled Ben Newhook in the crease.
The Kings opened the road venture with a 3-2 victory with Jesse Hickey leading the charge with a two-goal performance. Lucas Robinson scored the other goal for the Kings in support of winning puckstopper Lucas Park.
Reilly Mayne and Mark Davis scored for the Ice.
The Ice won the second game of the series by 4-3 spread with Mark Davis paving the way with a two-goal outing. Reilly Mayne and Ryan Jones also scored for the Ice. Brady Taylor, Jesse Hickey and Riley Simms scored for the Kings.
